On this page I would like for everyone to begin listing items you would like to discuss in our first meeting. While creating your list of ideas, consider the following: Purpose, Objective, Grade levels, Facilitator's name, community members, and activities. Include for each activity the purpose, the description, the steps, and the estimated time. Keep in mind that the goal of the online learning community is to improve technology use and integration at our campus.

  3. How can we create more of a student-centered learning environment?
  4. What are some of the online technology tools that we can use to enhance the learning experience?
  5. How do we integrate the new technologies in our program?


Purpose:

  • To integrate the newest technologies, create a student center learning. and establish a closer relationship with industry in the Digital Imaging and Design program at TSTC West Texas.

Objectives:

  • To determine the technology and software needs of the Digital Imaging and Design Program and to integrate these into the learning process.
  • Establish a working relationship with industry to determine student learning outcomes

  • Compile a list of student learning outcomes from the members industry interviews
  • Compile a list of software needs to meet these outcomes
  • Compile a list of technology needs to meet these outcomes

  • Discuss any other information the members may have gathered
  • Finalize the list of software and hardware needs
  • Finalize the student learning outcomes for DID
